“The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say”
J.R.R.Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
This photograph was taken in Kufri Zoo near Shimla, on 27th December (in freezing cold weather). It was around 1:30 PM, yet the zoo was completely deserted and had so quite and serene quality that one could live there forever.
The sound of our footsteps on the snow as we walked and calls of many animals and birds echoing in the enclosure one of my unforgettable memories.
This picture has that haunting and beautiful quality that can give you creeps and pleasure at the same time.
